Data Platform Tips 39 - Visualise Azure Data Explorer Data in Power BI

a) Open Power BI Desktop

b) Click on "Get Data" and select "Azure Data Explorer (Kusto)" and click "Connect".

















c) Provide the Azure Data Explorer Cluster name, Database and Table name or Azure Data Explorer query and use the "Import" Data Connectivity mode and click "Ok". Note: You can also use the DirectQuery mode if needed.





















d) You will now be able to see the data that was sent to Azure Data Explorer which can be used to create visualizations in Power BI.
