a) Logon to the Azure Portal.

b) Provisioning Azure Data Explorer involves 2 steps.

• Cluster Creation
• Database Creation

 c) Let us provision the Azure Data Explorer.

d) The next step is creating a database.

e) Set the Database name, Retention period - time (in days) until when the data is available for querying and Cache period - time (in days) when the frequently queried data available in

SSD or RAM.

f) Now you can query the database to list the database detail.
